The Reading Club is where the love of language begins. Learners gather in weekly reading circles to discover stories that reflect their own lives, and worlds far beyond them. From page to stage, readers build vocabulary, comprehension and the quiet confidence that comes from getting lost in a good book.
Reading doesn't stay between the covers. Excursions to the Iziko Museums and the District Six Museum turn galleries into classrooms, while theatre outings and competitive showcases give readers a reason to perform what they love. It all started with our first competition at the Labia Theatre in 2022, and the story keeps growing.
