Debate Club

We are a dynamic community of thinkers, speakers, and leaders dedicated to the art of effective communication and critical thinking. Debate isn't just about arguing; it's about understanding multiple perspectives, researching deeply and structuring ideas with logic and eloquence.

Through friendly competition, structured training and collaborative teamwork, our members learn to speak with confidence, think on their feet, and engage deeply with complex global issues.

Whether you want to conquer public speaking fears or sharpen your argumentative skills for competitions, there is a place for you here. Co-led by Quddoosiyyah Mohamed and Jody White, the club has produced speakers who go on to command real stages, like Glendale Secondary's Lyle Lekeur, Master of Ceremonies at the 2025 award ceremony.
